I'm an old person and I did enjoy the first snap, and sure, there's a bit of nostalgia, but there's a bit more to it than just taking photos. That's fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I wanted to explain just why I'm so hyped for this game.

In an open-world system, the developer has to account for dozens of variables since the player has more freedom to interact with the world with free camera movement. Therefore, the developer has the ability to set an equally fixed amount of rendering and performance expense, which makes it easier to prioritize graphics because you know that the overall system can't get heavily taxed. While it's true that a relatively fixed camera perspective plays a role in prioritizing graphical fidelity, the biggest difference between rail shooters and semi-open-world RPGs is the level of gameplay systems going on as well as free movement of the player.ĭue to the on-rails nature of the former, there's no uncertainty with where the player will go/what their viewpoint will be. It will save, but takes legit 2-5 min, just give it time it will save. (What number was pikachu on a stump with lighting?) You just have to remember which picture of pikachu is the best one when you take it. Oak will still properly grade it, so you get points for it. This actually can be helpful, but doesn't look idea Z-index for pokemon is screwed up, so you can see pokemon behind rocks, but those pictures won't work. It isn't perfect, but it is playable if you use GlideN64 video plugin with mupen64plus - this usually is default setting
